About the Role 

The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Education Assistants interest in assisting students with special needs. We have two opportunities available for commencement in Term 1, 2025.

  • full-time ongoing role

  • full-time 12 month fixed-term role

About You

Our ideal candidates will be appropriately qualified, hold current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to;

  • A personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community. 

  • Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs  

  • Experience in assisting teachers in the delivery and evaluation of planned education programs 

  • Ability to assist students undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting 

  • Ability to assist with student education by having an understanding of health and physical disabilities of the student(s) in their care

  • Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning  

  • Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College   

  • Willingness to support the extra-curricular program of the College
